How to use these

Every sheet here is free, needs no account, and prints from your browser. There are three kinds, and they do different jobs.

  • Practice — the main set for a topic, worked at a desk or printed. Answers and explanations are on the page, folded away until you ask for them.
  • Drills — short retrieval questions meant to be repeated days apart rather than finished once. Spacing them out is the point.
  • Print — the whole lesson, teaching text and all, laid out for paper. Use it when the screen is the problem.

Quizzes and problem sets sit at the end of each chapter and pull from every topic in it, which makes them a fair check of whether something has stuck rather than whether it was just read.
